I currently belong to Planet Fitness in Cassleberry and am looking to cancel my membership and go to another gym. Does anyone in this area have an idea what the monthly rate at LA Fitness runs. Currently my husband and I pay $20 total to go to Planet Fitness.

I applied for health insurance over 30 days ago and I just received some paperwork yesterday asking for more info. How long does this take? What are the laws regarding how insurance companies handle applications for insurance? I’m in Ohio.

I live in a fairly small city. I am 35 and was considering taking boxing as a means to fitness. I can’t find one. I take Brazilian Jujitsu, but would like to take boxing as well. There are MMA classes, Karate, Taekwondo, Kungfu, everything except for boxing. Why is that?

I am currently looking to buy a new fitness watch but have been a bit confused by all of the different options. I cycle 12km a day and was looking for something to measure heart rate, bpm, cycle time, calories, etc. I also run 3/4 times a week and would like heart rate, bpm, calories, lap times, etc. I would like a fitness watch that can be used for both, that looks quite good, and if possible works on mac os x?

National Health care is a financial disaster waiting to happen, in my opinion. Since we need a solution that the majority can agree upon, not just one mandated by one political party, what can we do to reduce health care costs other than a National Health care system.
The Federal Government is notoriously inefficient. There must be a better way than letting them take over 10% of our economy!
